Hello! And welcome to the official site of All Facts Media. Andrew and I are extremely excited to launch this blog and begin to share stories that are compelling and that will interest you all! From the casual sports fan as well as the causal reader, all the way to the biggest sports fanatics that are out there! We plan to become your go to site for everything sports, while trying to also tie in culture and societal aspects as much as we can. We hope you guys enjoy and we look forward to any and all feedback you guy’s have to offer! To begin we will give you some background about us, and who we are as people.

About Aaron:
What’s up guy’s Aaron Robinson here. I like to think of myself as the good looking twin, and the brains of this operation (Just kidding, kind of). But as you can tell, I am a pretty laid back all around fun person. I am currently a graduate student at Coppin State University in Baltimore, MD where I play division 1 basketball. I graduated from Quinnipiac University in Hamden Connecticut where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in Sports Studies. I was also a member of the basketball team there for four years, where I played 3 years and redshirted one year, hence why I was able to get the 5th season of eligibility to be able to play at Coppin State. Nevertheless, while I was at Quinnipiac, journalism was a huge part of my life. I got the opportunity to participate in a national award winning student media organization, doing things such as reporting, anchoring, interviewing, writing, and filming and creating highlights of games just to name a few things. I got the opportunity to work with some extremely talented individuals during this time, while also learning from some of the best professors in the field. While working on different stories throughout my time there, I was able to work with professionals in the field such as Kevin Blackistone and Howard Bryant, among others. Quinnipiac was truly a life changing experience, and it is one of the main reasons why I am doing what I am doing today.
Along with basketball, journalism is my passion and I love telling the stories of athletes, and the intersections of sports, and society. It is my dream to one day be able to make a living covering sports, while also giving a voice to athletes that might otherwise not get to share their stories. I want to shed light on the ways in which sports can be a microcosm of society and how athletes, particularly African American ones like myself, can use their platform to bring about change in their societies. But above all I want to be an example to all of the African American young men in communities all across America, that they can make it. No matter where you come from or how you were raised, your education can be a platform for you to do great things. In the same way that I looked up to people like Stephen A Smith and Chris Broussard and Jemele Hill, I hope one day young African American boys will be able to look to me in the same way.
So with that being said, let’s get this show on the road!
About Andrew:
My name is Andrew Robinson, I too am a graduate student at Coppin State University, where I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Human Service Administration with a focus in negotiations and conflict management. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in the Spring of 2019 from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelors Degree in journalism with a minor in sports studies. Quite simply, sports are my passion. I’ve played basketball my entire life, but my love for sports extends far beyond the hardwood. I grew up playing football, soccer, softball, golf, and I even ran track. Quite simply I did it all, and this is what first gave me my passion for sports journalism. I figured if I couldn’t play all of these sports, what better way to stay around the game then to cover it, and be able to talk about it and watch it?
My love for sports, combined with my love for writing has inspired me to pursue sports journalism as my career path. It is my goal to one day have my own show on ESPN, where I can combine my love for sports with my passion for social justice and advocacy, to discuss the many intersections of sports and politics in todays society. I look forward to telling compelling stories that will move audiences and hopefully inspire others to be there best self each and every day.
